Giving back to the community through fresh affordable food.

Our story

Living through the pandemic on Maui, we became acutely aware of the fragility of our supply chain. Food and other essential supplies were often difficult or impossible to obtain. This realization ignited a passion within us to cultivate a more resilient and self-sufficient lifestyle, rooted in the rich soil of our island home.

Determined to embrace the spirit of aloha ʻāina (love of the land), we decided to cultivate our own food, ensuring we could provide for ourselves and our community in times of need. Maui's ideal climate for farming tropical produce allows our 'āina (land) to yield an abundance of food. From the lush greenery of our farm, we harvest a diverse array of fruits, including citrus, mango, papaya, soursop, and breadfruit.

Our mission is to contribute to this abundance, supporting the local community by providing free produce through organizations like the Common Ground Collective and making healthy, fresh food affordable through other channels. We believe in the power of community and the importance of mālama (to take care of) each other and our land.

By working together, we can ensure that no one on Maui goes hungry and everyone has access to the nourishing, fresh produce our island has to offer. We are committed to sustainable farming practices that honor our environment and promote the well-being of our island's people. Through education, collaboration, and a shared love for the land, we strive to create a more resilient and thriving Maui for future generations.
